This is the third painting included in an exhibition that celebrated the three parks in Milwaukee designed by Frederick Law Olmsted. A huge debt of gratitude to @ekjtada for taking me and Chris on an extensive tour of the park on December 31, 2021. Eriks lives in a house near the park that belonged to his grandparents, so it was beyond amazing to hear stories about the park and the neighborhood over the years as experience by Eriks and his family. This red oak was pointed out to me by Eriks early in our walk, and this view looks east toward the neighborhood and the house where Eriks lives.
