These are small experimental paintings that I began to create when I started the most recent series, Memory Bin. I love the colors that I mix on my palette and these small “sketches” allow me to play around with the colors that are left on the palette. I’m purely occupied with form as I make them. They connect me to the early Modernist works from the 20th century that I love.
