Corner in French Parlor
oil on wood, 7″ x 5″, 2019
This painting was made at the Charles Allis Art Museum in the French Parlor.
A solid house. Thick walls, small windows with shades drawn protect a gemlike art collection. Formal curtains, walnut wainscoting, fabric covered walls, and fine antiques create an inviting warmth. Sarah Allis’ portrait reminds us that this is still her house.
Includes medium walnut finish maple float frame with hanging hardware installed, so that you can hang it up immediately.
