The Baumbach Building is one of Milwaukee’s first factories built in the style of the Chicago School. The building was a clothes factory and warehouse that became the Midwest Lamp & Novelty Co. in 1946. It was renovated in the 1980s for business and residences. When I scouted this site for painting, it was on the weekend and there were no cars in the parking lot. As I painted there during the week, it became an aggravating challenge to paint the ever-changing cars. Now the parking lot is one of my favorite things about the painting.
Includes medium walnut finish maple float frame with hanging hardware installed, so you can hang it up immediately.
